Steve has over 35 years of professional experience solving soil, water, and geology related problems in the environmental field. His working and project direction experience was developed while working on projects in the Middle Atlantic and New England Regions of the country. Steve’s problem solving experience includes geologic/hydrogeologic evaluations; contaminant hydrogeology; remediation system design; water and wastewater system evaluations and designs; Town, State and Act 250 site development plans and permitting; and expert testimony. He has provided project direction and management on residential and community on-site wastewater disposal projects, water supply projects, contaminant projects, earth resource mining, quarrying, and extraction related projects in Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and West Virginia.

Steve has provided expert testimony related to contamination, water supply, wastewater disposal and engineering geology type problems in New England and the Middle Atlantic area. Steve has a BA in Geology from Franklin & Marshall College and a MS in Geology from Southern Illinois University. He is nationally certified as a Certified Professional Geologist by the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG) and maintains Professional Geologist licensure in New Hampshire and Licensed Class B Designer certification in Vermont.

Steve is an active member of the Vermont Technical Advisory Committee for water supply and wastewater disposal rules and regulations. He is a recognized expert in dealing with very challenging commercial/residential development sites. He is OSHA HAZWOPER certified and is a member of the National Ground Water Association.

 

Elias Erwin

Elias is responsible for coordinating client needs with regulators, attorneys, insurance agencies, lending institutions, contractors and product vendors involving water supply, wastewater, stormwater and hazardous waste site projects. With over 11 years of experience, Elias has a strong understanding of the environmental industry and related sciences. In addition to analyzing and interpreting data, managing field staff, developing proposals, maintaining schedules and obtaining various permits, Elias performs a variety of field tasks ranging from underground storage tank removal, site investigation and assessment, emergency spill response, and monitoring and sampling of hazardous waste sites using various techniques to assess air, soil, and ground water quality. Elias develops a variety of  reports such as CAFI and CAP evaluations and Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments.

Elias has an A.S from Roger Williams University in Environmental Science and a B.S. from University of Montana in Resource Conservation. Elias is a Licensed Class B Designer, carries 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER (1910.120) certification as well as a Class II Public Water System Operator License from the State of Vermont. He is also a member of the National Ground Water Association.

 

Dagan Murray

Dagan has over 10 years of experience in the environmental industry. He has experience working with regulatory agencies from New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. His past work experiences have led to a vast knowledge of the petroleum industry including underground storage tank regulations, installation, operation, spill prevention, and contaminant fate and transport assessments. He has a strong background investigating, managing, and developing corrective action plans for hazardous waste sites of many types. His specific experience is with petroleum and chlorinated solvent contamination.

Currently, Dagan is responsible for LAG’s water supply projects which include permitting, installation, testing, and evaluation of new water sources; management of several hazardous waste sites as well as investigation and evaluation of contaminated sites; Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments; Brownfield’s assessments and investigations; underground storage tank removal, cleaning, and assessments; marketing, proposals, and business development. Dagan has a B.S. from Norwich University in Geology and a Minor in Environmental Science. Dagan carries 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER (1910.120) certification as well as a Class 3 Public Water System Operator License from the State of Vermont. He is also a member of the National Ground Water Association.

 

Jeremy Revell

With over 17 years experience with LAG Jeremy has knowledge of most aspects of the environmental consulting field. Aside from helping to run the day to day operations at LAG Jeremy has extensive experience with project management, remedial system operation, maintenance, design and installation. Jeremy has operated remedial systems in Vermont, New Hampshire, New York and Massachusetts for State agencies as well as private clients.

Currently, Jeremy manages multiple petroleum contaminant projects, is a Class III Water Operator for community water systems, oversees UST cleaning and closure activities, and conducts Phase II Site Assessments and implements Corrective Action Feasibility Investigations and Corrective Action Plans. Jeremy holds 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER (1910.120) certification as well as a Class III Public Water System Operator License from the State of Vermont.

As the original owner of LAG, Linda carries the ultimate financial responsibilities of the company. Linda manages the overall financial state of the company. In addition to this, she is a point of contact for many of LAG’s larger projects. Linda has an academic background in business management and accounting.




 

Joe Hagan

Joe has been an Environmental Technician for the past 12 years. His responsibilities include: Ground water and soil sampling of clean and contaminated sites. Remedial system pilot testing, installation, operation and maintenance. Additionally Joe collects data for pump tests and Landfill closure monitoring. Joe is a State of Vermont Licensed Class II water system operator and is 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Certified.

 

Tyler Maynard

Tyler has over 3 years of experience in Computer Aided Design. He is responsible for designing, keeping up-to-date and managing LAG CAD drafting standards. His duties include; AutoCAD, Computer troubleshooting, CAD file management and various other computer related tasks. He prepares State approved CAD drawing documents in both site remediation and sewage disposal systems. He graduated in 2005 & 2006 from Vermont Technical College with an AS in Architectural and Building Technologies and a BS in Business. Tyler is 40 Hour OSHA Certified.


 

Shannon Kayhart

Shannon has been with LAG for 16 years. Her first position with the company was as Administrative Assistant and over the years her responsibilities grew into her current position as Office Manager. Her responsibilities today include accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, payroll, and office personnel supervision. She is also responsible for day to day administrative duties with regard to employee benefits management including the company sponsored 401(k) program and employer sponsored insurance plans. Additionally, Shannon is responsible for preparing reimbursements for clients in Vermont, and New Hampshire. Shannon’s knowledge of LAG’s services goes well beyond administrative duties. Her many years with the company has given her the expertise to adjust and attend to an emergency situation or direct clients appropriately.

Shannon has a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Champlain College.

As the office Administrative Assistant, Kathy is committed to doing her very best for LAG. She brings to the company a sincere will to assist clients and co-workers. From the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, Canada, to the Green Mountains of Vermont, she shares an invaluable lifetime experience in an environmental and agricultural background. Her administrative responsibilities for this multi-task position include word processing reports, correspondence via e-mailing, pdf reports to state web-sites and anything else that comes across her desk. You'll often hear her ask "How can I help you?"
